FoodStudio is the first ERP specifically built for ready-to-eat meal companies. When I was invited to develop its interface and user experience, it already had a massive library of functionalities, so extensive that one of the biggest challenges was organising all its functions without overwhelming users whatsoever. Visual element hierarchy and colour coding and were inconsistent, as well as each process took too many interactions to achieve an outcome.
The platform was restructured in user-focused sections, colour library was standardised with different shades of grey to transmit depth to each level of background, and colours to guide critical actions through emotion triggers. Data visualisation became clear, respecting hierarchical levels - all optimised for tablet devices to allow its usage in kitchens and production environments. In addition to a marketable product, now FoodStudio has a website and help centre, all consistent with its new visual identity.
